A Little History

Gattis Air Conditioning and Electrical Company was started in 1971 in Grapevine, Texas by Tommy Gattis. Tommy and his son Perry contracted air conditioning, refrigeration and electrical work in the Metroplex for over 30 years. Tommy passed away in 1999 and Perry took over as master. Tragically Perry contracted Lou Gehrig's disease and also passed away in January 2005.

Paul Coventry started working in the air conditioning industry in 1978 in the Fort Worth area. He has experience with residential and commercial construction and service. He has worked with building automation, indoor air quality, mechanical troubleshooting and installation engineering for 20 years before he became a licensed contractor. In 1997 he started Coventry Contracting Corp. Working in the Grapevine area selling Bryant equipment.

When Perry Gattis passed away, Paul Coventry merged the customer lists and continued to service and warranty all the Gattis installations. We have been gratified to have retained most of the Gattis customers, but also our business has grown every year because of the referrals of satisfied customers. We go the extra mile to design and build quality systems and we will treat you as we would like to be treated. The Golden Rule is a good guide for any business.
